You want photographs that feel meaningful and true to you, and it is completely normal to worry about how everyone will behave or whether the experience will feel stressful. My role is to guide you through the process so you can relax and enjoy the moment.

My session fee is $195 and reserves your time on my calendar. It covers everything needed to create a calm, guided, and personalized experience from start to finish.

Here’s what’s included in the $195 session fee:

Pre-session consultation to plan and get to know you and your family and/or pet
Digital session planning guide with tips for preparing and feeling confident
Studio or on-location photo session
Pet goodie bag filled with treats and swag (for pet sessions)

The pre-session consultation is an important part of the experience. This is where we talk through goals, wardrobe, locations, and any special considerations. For pets, it’s also an opportunity for a “sniff and greet,” which helps animals feel comfortable, establishes trust, and allows us to create a game plan for the session. For families and seniors, this conversation ensures everyone arrives confident and prepared, and it sets the stage for a relaxed, smooth, and enjoyable session.

Every session is tailored to who is in front of my camera. Families, high school seniors, and pets all bring their own energy and personalities, and no two sessions are ever alike. The goal is not perfection, but connection, expression, and capturing real moments.

Sessions are collaborative. Sometimes that means an extra set of hands for pets or children. Sometimes it means reassurance and guidance so everyone feels comfortable. Together, we create an experience that is enjoyable, relaxed, and meaningful.

The result is artwork that reflects your relationships, your personalities, and this season of your life. Images you will cherish and proudly display for years to come.

How it Works

Booking

A $195 session locks in your date on my calendar and this fee covers your pre-session consultation, approximately one hour of shooting, your portrait reveal and selection appointment, and more. Most clients are booked three to four weeks in advance, so early booking is recommended to secure your preferred date.

Planning

Before your session, you will receive a digital welcome guide with everything you need to prepare, from what to expect to tips for helping your family or pets feel at ease. We’ll also connect by phone or in person to talk through your goals, personalities, and any special considerations to ensure an enjoyable experience.

Purchase Appt.

After your session, you will choose a Legacy Box, Legacy Album, or Legacy Collection for 10 images, with a total investment of $995 and the option to purchase more images. There is no obligation to add more, though many clients enjoy expanding their collection after seeing their photographs.

Products

Artwork delivery typically takes four to eight weeks, depending on the products selected. While your custom pieces are being prepared, I will share a sneak peek on social media so you can enjoy and share highlights from your session. Any included digital files will be delivered once they are ready via an online gallery.

The Studio

As soon as you step into the studio, you will be greeted by a display of printed images showcasing my past clients, both pets and people, on a variety of unique, high-quality products. This space also serves as the area where you can return to review and purchase your portraits. If you plan to be photographed with your pet, I have a dedicated changing room, separate from the bathroom, where you can safely store your belongings and keep your clothes clear of pet fur.

Now, let's talk about the shooting space itself. I spent the past three years finding the perfect studio that works for both pets and people. The floor is polished concrete, making any accidents easy to clean, and as a commercial space, there are no concerns about noise if your dog or even your little ones get vocal. You might even find that I make more funny and silly noises than your pets or kids most of the time.

Due to the size of the space, studio sessions are limited to no more than five people at a time. This ensures everyone has room to move, relax, and enjoy the experience.

The Finished Product

Once your session is complete, Erica will schedule your purchase appointment for two weeks later to showcase and discuss your images. Don't worry, she will guide you through a simple and efficient system to help you narrow down your favorites quickly. The studio offers a wide range of products to accommodate various budgets.

My studio focuses on delivering finished, quality artwork that can be displayed and enjoyed, rather than just handing over a USB drive. Your images are meant to live on your walls, in albums, or as keepsakes that you return to again and again. During your selection appointment, I guide you in choosing the perfect pieces for your home or space so that your memories become timeless art.

My print collections start at $995, and when you invest at that level or higher, I provide the corresponding digital files as well. This gives you flexibility and peace of mind, as digital files serve as a backup in case of accidents, damage, or changes in display plans, while your professionally printed artwork remains the centerpiece of your home or collection.
