Enter Peanut my 4.5 lb white poodle who changed my life forever.
PEANUT 2006 - 2020
"It wasn't until I was an adult that I truly understood what it meant to love a dog. Peanut is definitely my one dog. It truly was meant to be. Vets often tell me that I must be the best mother in the world, cause my dog should not be alive. When Peanut came into my life some 14 years ago, she was a normal pup, barking, running... and peeing on my floor! Then sadly, at age four, things changed forever. She almost died - a problem with her tiny nasal cavity meant she couldn't drink water for herself anymore. I was so scared I was going to lose my furr-baby. She was too young and I wasn't prepared to say goodbye. After months of no answers, I finally found a veterinarian who could help her. It has been a long ten years riddled with problems and even more close calls. It was on that second scare that it dawned on me: I had no quality images of me and my dog. I needed to make sure that when it was finally her time, I had what I needed to remember my beloved friend. I have since done a few sessions with Peanut, the latest was with my friend Russel where he did a session with my mom and our pups back in 2019. Two of my favorite things and I will cherish this session forever. Peanut has taught me to never give up on life and celebrate every day like it is your last."

Lost Cabin Brewery - 2020 Calender Project
I partnered with Lost Cabin Beer Company to create the Dogs of Lost Cabin first annual calendar. Numerous sponsors from across our community came together to create this amazing project and raise money for 3 local animal rescue organizations. I am looking forward to seeing what fun pups will be in next years edition. A huge shout-out to Liz Patton Creative for volunteering the design work. It all came together so well!
